Adventure Awaits At Myrtleford And Mount Buffalo
The Myrtleford area is famous for its history of growing tobacco and you can see an original “Kiln” as you enter the town. Grab some morning tea at the “Myrtleford Bakehouse” and relax at “Jubilee Park”. On the way to Bright stop at the “Australian Pumpkin Seed Company” and try some chocolate-coated pumpkin seeds. Your next stop is the picturesque town of Bright where the creeks sparkle and the trees are spectacular in Autumn. This is a great place to jump on your bike or hire one, with some great bike trails to explore. On the return Visit Mount Buffalo and breathe in the beautiful mountain air whilst exploring “Lady Bath Falls”, the historic “Chalet” that is perched on top of Bents Lookout with breathtaking views over the famous Gorge. There are a lot of hiking tracks from simple and short to full-day adventures. “The Horn” is a great spot to get 360-degree views of the surrounding high-country peaks or to start a walk up to the “Pinnacle” for the most spectacular sunset.
